It is with great pleasure that I recommend Melissa Ginn and her company Best Left at Home to anyone in need of pet or animal care. My experience was nothing less than superb and I highly recommend her services.
Over an 8 day period Melissa cared for my two dogs while I was on vacation. My pets had special needs, and have been very much traumatized in the past when kenneled. Melissa took the time to get to know my animals, and truly went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable. She went the extra mile to accommodate my dog's needs, and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure they were comfortable in my family's absence. Upon arriving back home my pets were happy, healthy, and have obviously had a very pleasant time in Melissa's care.
Melissa has always displayed a high degree of integrity, responsibility, and ambition in regards to her pet sitting services. She is definitely a leader in the industry, setting a very high standard in quality in-home pet care. In addition, Melissa is very skilled in dealing with animals and that shows in her interactions with them.
In summary, I highly recommend Melissa Ginn and her pet care services. She is highly accommodating, good with animals, and a person of high integrity. I will definitely use her again in the future for my pet sitting needs.

Anthony Masucci To whom it may concern, I have a 'special needs' furry person in my family, and was truly convinced that I would not be able to go on vacation because there was no one I could trust to take care of him and recognize his needs. I had plans to interview several pet-sitters, but was pretty sure Sparky would not warm to anyone. Melissa showed up to meet him and within three minutes he had his head in her lap and was adoringly kissing her...even though my lap was equally available! He followed her around and asked for her attention for the rest of the hour she stayed. That was all I needed to see. If he trusted her, so did I. While I was gone she kept up with his medication, took him for walks, played with and loved him. When I returned, I found that she had even left me progress notes as to what they had done each day. I can't express how thankful I am to have found someone that I actually trust to take care of him and whose company he enjoys so much. I would recommend Melissa to anyone who has to be away from their pets for any length of time. She truly loves animals and it shows. As an added bonus, she seems to care just as much about people! "I never ever thought I'd find anyone who would take as good of care of my animal family as I did. I even worried when my Mother took care of our dogs and cats.....and then we met Melissa. For the first time in 20 years, I am not worried about how my dogs and cats are doing -- under Melissa's care I know that everything is fine. And on the off chance it isn't fine, I know that Melissa will call me straight away. My stress is reduced, my animals stress of having us not home is reduced, not to mention they love having "Miss Melissa" come to visit."
